“Ireland Lights Up”

The hugely popular “Ireland Lights Up” returns in Jan 2022 in Partnership with the GAA, OPERATION TRANSFORMATION and GET IRELAND WALKING .

Clonmel Og GAA Hurling & Football Club is proud to host this event this year during the eight-week broadcast period on RTÉ of the show “Operation Transformation”

The Aim of these events is to make exercise on dark Winter nights more accessible and to provide social interaction in the community. Exercise is proven to benefit Physical and Mental health.

We are now calling on Club members for their help. We need volunteers every Thursday night to help with the following:

Registrations (from 7.00-7.30 each Thursday night )

Registration will beside the Astro.

Lead and Tail walkers for each week. The lead walker will be responsible for navigating the agreed route and keeping up the overall pace of the group, without racing ahead. It is the tail walkers responsibility to stay at the back of the group and make sure that we don't lose anyone!
